LFW
12th – 16th September 2014
Having loved fashion all my life, fashion week has always been high up on my bucket list.
As a city London is so fearless when it comes to fashion and has such a wealth of different styles.
It’s the perfect place for new-gen designers as well as established to show their work and embrace the London culture.
I for one could not wait to get my peepers on the Spring/Summer 2015 collections!
So having watched ‘The Devil Wear’s Prada’ thousands of times growing up, I had my ‘sunglasses inside look’ and ‘nonchalant gestures’ down to a tea.
I was ready to hit the shows.
Saturday 13th September 2014
‘Fashion’s Finest Show’
– New Generation Designers –
-Grand Connaught Rooms-
SHOW #1
-Adnan Bayyat-
The avant-garde designer perfectly reflects his personality with his ‘Riot of Expression’ collection.
It was like attending the Mad hatter’s tea party.
Amazing structures and intricate detailing, it was a great start to my fashion week adventure.
SHOW #2
-Rachel McMillan-
“Street wear at its best.”
Patterned parker coats, kaleidoscopic designs and geometric patterns.
Oh so wearable!
SHOW #3
-Temraza-
It was all about the train at Temraza’s show.
Bridal, bewitching and bejewelled.
Beautiful jewel tones and sky scraping slits.
SHOW #4
-Vietino-
So Veitino was my favourite designer of the day.
Clearly inspired my the fashion power house ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ the collection oozes italian flare.
Stunning prints, delicate, simple shapes. Classic and full of sophistication.
Definitely one to watch!
Having made it through the first day of shows, no hiccups – not even falling on the cobbled streets in covent grden in my heels (It took so much concentration!) I was ready for day #2.
I just needed to plan my outfit!
Over and out,
