Hi huns, welcome to my blog!
For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved fashion, dressing up and going on shopping trips with my mum as a little girl, I would stay in a shop for hours trying on whatever the sales assistant would pass me. Back then my biggest inspiration was Barbie (obviously) I mean she had a wardrobe to die for and I soon realised I could have one too!
Growing up in Humberston (Lincolnshire, UK) it wasn’t a mecca for fashion enthusiasts but I soon became a loyal customer to a few local boutiques namely Guru, Paris and Think Bubbles with whom I still shop with today. I like the intimacy of boutique shopping and the personal touches they add, knowing what will suit you and being able to pull looks together with you in mind. I’m not one to forget my roots and so even now living in London whenever I’m home visiting friends and family I always pop in for a catch up and a shopping spree!
Now in my 20’s I have a huge wardrobe (which seems to get bigger by the day) it’s filled with everything from designer to high street, vintage to start-up brands. My style is very eclectic, it represents how I’m feeling in that moment of time. I can go from being boho chic one day to preppy the next, I like mixing it up. I’m the kind of girl who will save up my pennies and buy investment pieces. I like classic styles that will last a lifetime. Although for season specific trend pieces there’s no better place to go than the Great British high street.
I started this blog on Tuesday 8th April 2014, I had been working on the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition at the Barbican Centre in London and thought I would share my experience. What started off as a hobby quickly turned into my own little #GirlBoss (mini) empire.
Simply put – I love blogging! Reading blogs, writing blogs, I just get so much joy out of it. This little blog has led me to some amazing opportunities and experiences and I’ve been lucky enough to meet some truly amazing people on my blog world travels. Now a days my little corner of the web is a hub of a whole heap of things, be it travel, fashion, lifestyle – I write all sorts and I love it! But never in a million years did I expect people to actually read it, never mind become loyal followers. So thank you for stopping by, I can’t tell you how much it means to me!
