Hi guys, welcome back to the Weekly Round-up and the third instalment of this little series. If you’re new here and have zero clue what I’m talking about, you can find all the previous posts plus the introduction post by clicking this link here. If you’re not new however, hi guys! How has your week been? For me in all honesty this week has been very quiet on the excitement front but super successful on the work front. I’ve pretty much just worked this week, I’ve been very anti-social and literally haven’t seen any of my friends at all. The upside of this however is that I have been SO productive. I’ve written some amazing blog content *check out my latest beauty review here* as well as scheduled in lots of photoshoots so I can really kick up the Instagram action (come say hey @littlemisswinney.)
I had a super exciting meeting on Tuesday and got the go ahead for a long-term collaboration with a brand. I also confirmed two other collab’s for Instagram and can not wait to share everything with you guys. I feel in general, I’ve just found my groove again and it’s the best feeling! I love blogging, like actually love it. It makes me happy, it clears my mind it does wonders for my mental health and for a few months I just got stuck in a rut. So to be back, wanting to write and edit and work is truly a great feeling.
I’ve been working from home for the majority and have been cooking myself some fancy breakfasts each morning as you can see above. Smashed avo on toast with soft boiled eggs has become my go to and I reckon I’m getting quite good at it, so good I took a picture haha. Other than my flat however I’ve been heading down the high street to Charlies Cafe. I love this place, my standard order is a flat white with oat milk…and usually some kind of cake or pastry because why not? It’s the perfect place when I get cabin fever I need some outside inspiration. I sit myself by the window with my laptop and type away.
Other than blogging I’ve also been at the Barbican centre a couple of times this week, mainly working on events. I’ve not been feeling amazing – I keep waking up in hot sweats – so sadly the gym has taken a hit, I haven’t been at all this week! It’s bad I know and I feel it. For me the gym makes me feel better inside and out. I do intend to get back with my Personal Trainer Jay within the next month or so, we train outside and it’s just been too cold for me recently but I fully intend to start them again as it really helps me get in the right frame of mind fitness wise. Yesterday I headed out on a big shopping spree and bought some amazing new pieces from Primark, H&M, River Island and New Look. I intend to shoot most of it with my photographer Zoe on Monday so keep your eyes peeled, I picked up some great pieces!
As I said, there’s really not much to report this week. I feel bad as I’m sure you want me to talk about all the crazy things I’ve been up to but this is it. I have weeks were it’s non-stop and weeks, like this one were it’s all about the work. So I apologise if this week’s Roundup has been a bit dull but if nothing else it’s been honest. Next week I’m heading home for Easter so they’ll be lots to chat about. In the meantime, I’ll be back with a new blog post on Wednesday and here again on Sunday with another Weekly Roundup. Let me know what you’ve been up to this week in the comments below and as always, if there’s something you’d like me to talk about on the blog let me know – your thoughts and feedback help me out so much. Have a glorious week ahead. Catch up soon!
