Last week I was invited to an afternoon at Sketch London, hosted by world-renowned jewellery designer Theo Fennell. Held in sketch’s ‘Glade room’ we feasted our stomach’s on afternoon tea and our eyes on Theo’s latest collection.
Although I am along way from being able to afford any of the fine jewellery and silverware pieces, I can certainly appreciate them. The craftsmanship is a true art form, all hand engraved and some even painted using the hair of a fly!
The entire collection was simply stunning, my favourite being the ‘London’ collection based on Cadogan Square. I fell head over heels in love with the gold fence ring and cuff adorned with a white gold dog.
The afternoon was a delight and I was so grateful to have been invited, even getting the chance to speak to Mr Fennell himself!
He said, ‘Even if you’re not in the financial position to a buy fine jewellery just yet, it’s always worth educating yourself about it and developing your personal taste so when the time comes, you’ll know exactly what you’re looking for.’
Wise Words!
Over and out,
