So those of you who follow me on Instagram may have noticed (been bombarded with pictures of) my recent trip to Paris. Now bare with me, although only there for 4 days, we packed crazy amounts in! So while I’m busily editing pictures and typing up my full paris trip blog, I thought in the mean-time I’d take the chance to zone in on a few of my favourite bits during the trip.
For me the pre-holiday is as important as the holiday itself! After the stress of packing and searching for your passport is over, it's time to sit back, relax and get in the holiday spirit! Traveling to Paris via the Eurostar meant setting off from St Pancras, setting off from St Pancras meant one thing....Searcys Champagne Bar!
After feasting on eggs royale for breakfast we (my mum and I) were ready for some bubbles. After browsing the menu we decided to go for two glasses of Buck's Fizz, the perfect breakfast tipple! Of course besides the champagne the most exciting part of the Searcys experience is the famous 'press for champagne' button situated in each booth. You press it and as if by magic out comes a waiter to take your order.
I absolutely adore champagne and adding a little orange juice makes it completely acceptable to be drinking it in the AM, If it were up to me that's how I'd start every morning! Having gotten the taste for it we went ahead and ordered another two glasses before hurrying along to check in.
So if you ever find yourself at St Pancras International, head on upstairs, press the button and bring on the bubbles!
Over and out,
Little Miss Winney x
