Now that the smell of wet paint has finally subdued it’s time unveil my new room!
Well it isn’t actually new, I’ve lived in the same flat for the last two years but I’ve finally gotten round to decorating it the way I want it and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product! My gorgeous mum came down a few weeks back to help me paint the walls and chalk paint the furniture along with styling the interior – yes imagine an episode of Changing Rooms, that was us! Eventually after an exhausting five days the transformation was complete and I’m so excited to finally share it with you guys and give you a mini tour of sorts.
Basically what happened was I first of all decided on my colour palette, created a Pinterest board (obviously) and then slowly but surely ordered a whole heap of goodies to compliment the theme. I wanted everything to be white in order for the room to look bigger than it actually is, so the walls and ceiling were painted white along with all of the furniture being painted in white chalk paint from Annie Sloan, if you haven’t heard of chalk paint, check it out because it honestly has the ability to transform old and tired pieces of furniture into new, stand-out fixtures! On top of the white, the colour theme I wanted was dusty pink and grey with copper highlights.
So yeah, welcome to my bedroom tour, hope ya like!
My mission was to make the room cosy and chic and a stylish spot that I’d happily work in on the days I have to work from home. I wanted pastel colours, a fresh, light and bright feel and lots of different textures on the bed itself. I’m pretty happy with the overall results I must say!
I have to give a shout out to the amazing team over at Amara – the ULTIMATE luxury gift and designer home ware destination. They collaborated with me and helped me realise my overall vision by kindly gifting me some of the most beautiful pieces!
I can not rave about the quality of their pieces enough!

I adore your room, it looks so beautiful and bright, exactly the kind of room I imagine a blogger to have haha. My favourite is the record player, so cute and a great record selection too. x
