2015.
I won’t lie…I am so happy it’s over!
I’m ready to jump into a new year with the feeling of a fresh start.
Without going into to much detail, the beginning of 2015 was one of the toughest times of my life. I’ve never felt so unhappy. It took me a long time to get back to feeling like myself again and slowly start to get things back to normal. Having your heart broken for the first time was never going to be easy and I certainly did not cope with it well. However from every dark cloud comes a ray of sunshine and from going through it all, I’ve grown and learnt so much about who I am and what I want.
I also moved flats last year which is always a huge adjustment in itself. There I met a couple of people that have become great friends and I hope will always be in my life in some way or another. Friends really were a massive part of my year, going to some crazy events and parties together and celebrating the wedding of one of my closest friends was definitely a highlight.
Of course the one thing that really did make a huge impact on my life in 2015 was this blog. Having started it mid way through 2014 I had kept it secret for the first year, rarely posting and feeling too exposed putting myself out there. This is the year that changed it all. 2015 became the year I made a idea I thought of in bed one night turn into a reality. I started writing more content, taking better pictures and redesigning the website not to mention collaborating with some great brands along the way. The blog was something I found helped to give me focus in a year where my life seemed to change so much within a few months. I could write the blog when I wanted to and found comfort in sharing my stories and fashion posts.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of you that read the blog and follow me on my social media channels. It really does mean so much! I want 2016 to be a great year full of happiness and fulfillment. I’m not sure what will happen, but thats ok. I shall try to embrace all that comes my way. If there’s anything you’d like to see more of on the blog let me know in the comments or via email/social media. I can’t wait to get started.
