For me undwear is up there as one my favourite things to buy, it’s a big thing for me and probably for many girls a like. It’s the first thing you put on and yet almost the finishing touch to your outfit. It changes the way you feel when getting ready in the morning and provides that extra confidence you need to complete each and every look.
I spend an unhealthy amount of time looking at beautiful lingerie on the internet and I am lucky to have quite a large collection. The latest edition to my underwear drawer is from Playful Promises, a London designed lingerie brand which mixes quirky, directional design with all things playful, flirty and even a little bit naughty.
I chose the ADA set, a peach embroidered shell bra and g-string. Channeling my inner mermaid, the ADA is a more retro-inspired design. The light peach satin feels pretty without being too girly (think Ariel when she’s grown up!) The peach satin is shaped into shells, topped with embroidery to pick out the details. Above this is a sheer peach mesh and a matching centre bow.
Adding a touch of modern flirtatiousness is the frilly g-string completing the set. The peach satin features fan embroidery, topped with a mesh mini-skirt frill and centre bow.
For me Playful promises is a dream of a lingerie brand. I love cute, fashion-led underwear however the majority of brands don’t cater for bigger busts. At a size 32DD I need support – whilst still wanting to look sexy and glamorous. Playful promises’ bras range from A-G in cup size and XS-XL in briefs, the underwear is beautifully made and fit’s so well leaving me feeling sassy, stylish and oh so sexy!
